Alias 2 won't read micro SD card

i just had the same problem and I found out that the phone can only handle 2gb and below. I had a 4gb card and the phone would not read it but once i switched it to a 1 gb it came right up.

Check wheteher the card is nor micro SDHC, you r device supports only SD cards , if its SDHC then your device wont ablt to read it

media center>music and tones> my music> options> scan memory card for new music. only thing that does not seem to show up is my sounds unless you record. I think my sounds depends on the file type.

hello,kindly check if it is inserted properly,you will see a directive arrow on the memory card to show you how it is to be inserted,if after you have inserted it correctly and it still does not sees it,i would suggest you suspect your memory card is corrupt if their is any message displaying on your mobile phone screen,and if it does not show any message like memory card corrupted,then you will have to visit a mobile phone repair expert to help you change the memory card slot,after this your mobile phone will now read your memory card.

Download FE Explorer from the link http://fexplorer.en.softonic.com/download/25347

Insert card into your phone but don't access it through phone.

Run FExplorer and Open the path C:\system.

You will find a file called mmcstore ,rename the file mmcstore.txt

Copy that file(mmcstore.txt) to your pc and open that file in notepad.

You will find your password in that file.
