Biz Hub 250 Setting up Scan Button & Resetting password

How is the Biz Hub password created? I know how to get to it on the internet to change the scan button but I don't remember the password that I originally choose. Is it the login to my computer and would I have to create a whole new scan button to change it?

If you forgot your password, you cannot recover it. You have to create a new button and write the password down this time :)

Hacked

If you are referring to your router's password being hacked and changed I suggest resetting your router to factory setting (normally accomplished by a recessed button on the side or back) and creating a more secure password. Try using at least one capital letter and one number.

the email server address may have changed
touch the utility counter button the the administrator button
touch network setting
touch email setting
touch fwd button
check to see if the host address is correct for email server

or check the email one touch button settings
To edit a one-touch E-mail address:
1. Press utility/counter.
2. One touch user box registration.
3. Create one-touch destination.
4. Address book.
5. Email.
6. Select the E-mail address.

Biz hub 250 Pdf printing problem

Hi I am former Konica Tech Support for 26 years. I do some network problem. Y may need to upgrade the copier memory. or this just simple setting. on the printing side I can assure you no problem. there is a setting on the operation panel choosing if you prepared pdf when ever you to e-mail, scan to box or scan to SMB. You can delete the old print driver and the control panel delete your even the printer Icon at the printer and fax folder. Re install the printer and the printer driver. And make sure send a test print. If so happened that you don't have the print driver you can go to Konica web site and download the print driver. There are many kind of print driver. postscript driver and etc. I hope this info will help you and if not you may contact me again.

Our Biz hub C 250 has lost the number 5 network setting option button when in admin panel settings. All other functions seem normal. This issue prevents setting or discovering the machine networking...

It hasn't lost the button but it does not appear during warm up and for several minutes afterwards, let it warm up and give it five minutes and then try admin mode it should be there then.

Network connection error

Are you using a router? If so, I can help you. I had this problem too. I just recently fixed it. You can try what I did...

Go to your 'Settings' > to 'System Settings' > to 'Restore Default Settings'.

Once you've completed Restore, go back to 'Settings' again > then 'Network Settings' > then select 'Infrastructure Mode' > 'New Connection' > 'Scan' > select your Internet connection...

Then, you should see the 'SSID' screen, don't change anything here, just click on your right directional button...

Then, your next screen should be 'WLAN Security Setting', click on the right directional again...

>>If you have set up a security password for your Internet connection in the past, then enter that password in 'WEP Key' (which is your next screen) If no password was created, 'WEP Key' screen will be skipped taking you to 'Address Settings'.

Select 'Easy' in 'Address Settings'

Then 'Enter the connection name' should be the next screen. I recommend to leave as is.

'Setting List' should be your next screen, click right directional again, and press "X" to save settings.

You may test your connection if you wish, but once it's done, go back to 'Settings' > 'Network' > 'Internet Browser'. It should be fixed now if not, try resetting your modem and/or router.

If it still does not work, call Sony (800-345-7669)

Good luck!
