Most of the metal detector metal detector detects all kinds of metal objects as like the underwater metal detector, nuggets metal detector are the best. But you have to use general mode. Home
Fisher Gold Bug is the best for gold hunter. Because it has search modes: All-Metal and Discriminate. I can also set the detector to reject any type of iron or hot rocks that may scan over so I don't keep getting tones for metal that I don't want. The dual-knob ground balance adjustment lets to maintain the effectiveness of the machine in different conditions. https://detectorly.com/fisher-gold-bug-metal-detector-review
The White's MXT or MXT Pro detector has 3 modes to choose from: Gold prospecting, coin & jewelry or relic. Great machine!
In most
cases, one metal detector will do it all except for specialized situations. So
nugget detectors and underwater ones wont be good for more geneal detecting.
That's a really good question. Manual settings on detector for discrimination can increase the depth at which things are detected, but if you get the settings wrong, you probably won't find much, so it's a risk. I think that for less experienced users, automatic detector settings are the best solution a it reduces the likelihood of making mistakes.
Here is a
link to a site called Metal Detecting World. It has so much useful information
about metal detection but also has a page with a list of terms and their
meanings;
Yes, metal
detecting under water is actually quite popular. There are a few types;
Snorkeling with a metal detector, Scuba detecting and Shipwreck diving.
