Finding gold in the beach is a great hunting.I have uncovered in my time metal detecting both the dry sand and the wet/water. The other important fact about gold is it is dense & heavy. This means that when it settles in the ground it sinks to the level where it is density is the same as the ground around it. That is why gold is commonly found on bedrock and with other heavy items like lead. However, keep in mind, it is not all glitter and gold because metal detecting on the beach will produce a wide variety of junk as well.research where gold has been found before. A common misconception is assuming that just because gold has been found in any certain area, you can just turn on your metal detector and start digging up gold. https://detectorly.com/purchase-reliable-metal-detector

Gold is more valuable than silver and often comes with gem stones etc, so finding it on the beach is a great thing. But - gold has low conductivity and falls into the same range as pull-tabs and foil. So if you sift those types of items out, so that you don't' get so much junk, you could also be sifting out the good stuff.

Dig out your own treasure

Some people wrongly consider "treasure hunting" with the use of a metal detector, as a potential source of enrichment. However, as almost all metal detector treasure hunters will testify, this activity is almost completely of an entertaining nature and rarely brings any real valuables.

All metal detectors can be set to detect different levels of signals coming from the metals, buried underground. According to its settings, the metal detector finds bigger or smaller objects, of different metals, buried deeper or more superficially. What most people aim for is gold. Lost rings or chains, old gold coins etc.

Coins are the most common "treasures" found with metal detectors.
They can be found more or less easily both on beaches or buried in fields. In the latter case, it's easier to find older coins rather than modern ones; witnesses of history, lost in more or less ancient times. Many metal detector hobbyists like collecting them as historical tokens, engraved with images and scriptures from the past.

On the other hand, beaches are abundant with modern coins that people lose, for example, when dropping the wallet in the sand, or when shaking the towel, forgetting they had been hiding money or jewelery in it.

Rings are also often lost in the water and washed ashore by the waves.
Therefore, the two places on the beach that may prove the most fruitful, are the round-shaped areas where the waves touch, especially at their tip, and the farthest outskirts of the beach, where people usually set their towels and belongings, and where they are likely to shake off their towel, dropping "treasures".

Good luck!
