First, turn off the wii. As in, UNPLUG. not the button. Then, turn it on, and press the A button to sync one of them, as normal. Then take the others you may have and press A as well to sync, BEFORE YOU START THE GAME! Then, they should be synced, and you can play the game!

<(^.^)> Hope that helps, and good luck!

Just changed the batteries in the remotes.and getting no signal when pointing at the screen to play games

sir think your remote is not working properly... you better try to reset your remote for your nintendo wii console... this is how you can reset your remote...

  1. How to Reset Your Wii Remote

    • 1 First you will need to check a few things, just to make sure what the actual problem is.
*Check to see that all cords are properly plugged in.
*Make sure the sensor bar is properly center above or below your tv set.
*Make sure that nothing is blocking the signal to the sensor bar.
*Make sure that the batteries in the remote are in good working order.
*Make sure that there are no wireless devices close by that might be interfering with the signal.
    • 2 If after all this the remote is still not working then it probably needs to be re-synced.
    • 3 Turn off and unplug your wii console for a few minutes.
    • 4 *Turn the power back on and when you see the the safety screen open the small flap on the front of the wii console. Inside you will find the red sync button. Press and hold the red button down for 15 seconds.
      * Then remove the battery cover from the wii remote, inside you will see another red button.
      * Press and release the red button, the blue lights on the remote will start blinking.
      * Quickly press and release the red sync button on the wii console.
      * The remote will stop blinking and it should now be synced.

Ok, well me and brother want to play Wii. But we only have one remote, And that remote wont turn on. We are getting like so mad. We've changed the batteries like 5 different times, we've tried Syning it,...

  • Check to make sure the Sensor Bar cord is inserted into the back of the Wii console and the Sensor Bar is centered above or below your TV screen (more info).
  • Make sure you are using fresh batteries in the Wii Remote.
  • The Wii Remote Controller should be used between 3 to 10 feet from the TV.
  • Make sure no objects are blocking the signals between the Sensor Bar, the Wii console, and the Wii Remote.
  • Check for interference from infra-red light sources, such as candles, sunlight, fireplaces, and stoves.
  • Radio frequency interference may cause the Wii Remote to work erratically. Check for wireless devices such as cordless phones, wireless computer keyboards or mice, or other similar devices, and move or turn them off.
or if the remote lights up briefly than goes out try this
    Try these steps!

  1. Turn the Wii console power OFF by pressing the POWER Button on the front of the console. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet for a few seconds. After a few seconds have elapsed, plug the cord back into the wall outlet.

  2. Turn the power of the Wii console ON. When you see the Health and Safety screen, open the small flap on the front of the Wii console to find a red button labeled "SYNC." Press and hold the SYNC Button down for 15 seconds. This will clear all the syncs on the Wii, allowing you to get a clean start to begin the process described below.

  3. After holding the SYNC Button on the Wii console down for at least 15 seconds, you can now "re-sync" your Wii Remotes:

    1. With the first Wii Remote you wish to sync, remove the battery cover on the back of the Wii Remote to find a small red button just below the batteries.

    2. Press and release the small red button just below the batteries on the Wii Remote; the blue lights on the front of the Wii Remote will blink.

    3. Quickly press and release the red SYNC button on the inside of the white flap on the front of the Wii console (picture).

    4. When the Player LED blinking stops and stays lit, the syncing is complete. The LED that is illuminated indicates the player number (1 through 4).
    5. This sync procedure (steps "a" through "d" above) must be followed for each additional Wii Remote added to the system.

If you are still unable to get the Wii console to recognize your Wii Remote(s) after carefully following the steps above, please call 1-800-255-3700 for further assistance. [nintendos help line]

My wii remote wont turn on, i even tried a couple different new batteries but still no lights or anything

Have you tried syncing the Wii remotes? To sync, turn the Wii on, open the back of the remote and then press a red button that says "SYNC". Then open the SD card slot in the front of the Wii and press another red "SYNC" button. If you do this, your Wii remotes should be able to turn on.

If your Wii remotes still don't turn on, visit support.nintendo.com

Or call 1-800-255-3700 for assistance on your Wii.

Cant use the remote

The remote has to be sync'd with the wii properly. If you sync it with another wii you have to sync it back.

Open the battery cover on the wii remote.
Open the front cover door in the middle front.

In each you will see a Red circle sync button in the remote and a rectangle button above the memory slot on the wii front.

Turn on wii, press the sync button on front of wii, then press sync button on remote, the remote should then get a signal and blue lights on front show player #. If not, turn off and try again. Once sync'd it will work with that Wii.

Remotes wont work light up but wont stay on ,hit

The red button, is a sync button and not a reset button. You can try resyncing your wii remotes to your wii follow these steps:

  1. Press the Power button on the Wii console to turn it on.

  2. Open the SD Card Slot cover on the front of the Wii console. Remove the battery cover on the back of the Wii Remote you wish to sync up.

  3. Press and release the SYNC button on the inside of the SD Card compartment on the console. Press and release the SYNC button just below the batteries on the Wii Remote.

  4. When the Player LED blinking stops, the syncing is complete. The LED that is illuminated indicates the player number (1 through 4).
You must have batteries in when pressing the red sync button on the wii remote, if your using the wii remote charger system, you must remove it and use batteries until this step is done

Hope this helps. Owen

My wii remote keeps flashin but wont trun on

You have to sync the Wii remote to the console.
To sync the Wii remote, turn on your Wii. Then open the back of the remote and press the "SYNC" button. Then open the SD Card Slot cover on the front of your Wii and press the "SYNC" button. Your remote should be turned on if you do this.
If this problem still occurs even when the Wii remote is synced, your Wii remote might not be working properly. Return it for a new one.

HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!

I've had this same problem. Remove the batteries from the remotes. Then disconnct the power cord from the back of the Wii and disconnect the power cord from the wall. Let it sit for 5 min. Double check that the sensor bar is plugged into the Wii and check the cord for any breaks that might stop the signal. After you are sure that the sensor bar is connected and the 5 min. have gone by plug it all back in, install your batteries and re-sync it.

Reconnecting

When you turned off the Wii, did the light turn red or amber?
If you haven't done this already, hold the power button until it shuts off, and the light is red. Power it back up and try your remote again.
