Water left in washer

I have a new GE Adora front end load washer and at the end of the wash cycle there is still water left in the machine. If you open the door water will pore out. It is only about a year and a half old. Has anybody else had this problem or know what it might be.

Actually it was as easy has taking the front off of the machine at the bottom and unscrewing a cap, which is the filter, and cleaning it out. Now things are working O.K. Thanks for your help.

Front load ge washer does not finish cycle

This model does not have a drain filter. There are filter screens inside the inlet valve where the hoses attach onto the machine. Take hoses off and look inside where the water goes into machine to see screens. Also, take the other end off hoses to make sure there are not screened hose washers in either end of the hose which may need to be cleaned or replaced.

Ge front load washer model WSXH208A Will not spin

Mine kept stopping mid cycle also, pouring water on the floor, then the start/pause button flashed and the door unlocked. I found the solution to clean the lint filter on the GE Adora. Go to http://www.instructables.com/id/GE-Adora-Lint-Filter-Cleanout/?download=pdf

I just did this and my washer is now running instead of the flashing start/pause and door unlocking. It was fairly easy. Make sure you have towels and a flat pan to catch the water if you don't have the machine on a riser. There may be water inside so a wet vac may be helpful too. Once my washer finishes what was in it, I have these funky towels to clean. You'll be very surprised what you find in the filter! Best of luck!

GE Adora Front Load Washer

I went to the home depot site and they have various videos that explain about the washer and how it works. This made my understanding more clear as to how the washer works. Thanks!

GE Adora front load washer overloaded now won't start

Washers - Resetting Electronic Controls on a Washer

If there is a pause in the washer cycle, the controls will lock up. The pause can occur because of a power failure or it was put in the test mode at the factory.

Also, if the washer was stopped before the cycle was complete or the consumer has pushed the stop/pause button to temporarily stop the cycle and the cycle is not reset. Over a period of 24 hours, the washer will pump out and spin, but will stay in the final spin.

To correct the situation, shut off the circuit breaker for 30 seconds or unplug the washer, then turn the timer knob around and back to any position other than final spin. Verify the water is turned on and restore power. This should resolve the issue.
