equals about 3500 calories. So to lose about a pound of weight in a week you
would need to reduce your calorie intake and/or increase your exercise. For
example, you could exercise off 300 calories a day and drop 200 calories from
your food intake and if you did this for 7 days, you should lose a pound.
In most of the new exercise bikes there is a little computer with
a analogic display attached to it which gives you information about how many
calories you've burned, how many miles you've ridden, your heart rate, etc.
