Automatic watch not working

I have a Cartier Men's Roadster Chronograph Watch #W62019X6. the automatic feature is not working. I rotate it in half circular motion, it will work for 40to 50 seconds every time and stop.

I would suggest you do the following........

Pull the bezel out to the first notch then wind the it back and forth for a couple of minutes then that should be it.

How do i know this. I have had a Roadster for a 6 years and just found this out yesterday.

Enjoy the watch.

I have had the same issue, just had the movement replaced at Cartier in Movember and it just stoped again yesterday. Haven't evenhad the watch 18 months and it's already been in repair for two months and off again.

Man dont be cheap, take a high quality digital picture of your watch, open it up take pics of the movement. If your watch is the real thing, take it to Cartier store in your city. If they do not have someone on staff to repair your watch, they will send it to the factory. If you take it to another place they might take the movement of your real watch and replace it with something from China. Why would you spend big money on a watch, then take it to Ace hardware for repairs? If its knockoff then it does not matter right, but if your watch is real you better have proof of the movement i case they do a swith on you.

I have a cartier roadster i opend up the back the rotor dose not turn 360 only 180 is that how its ment to be? Thanks

the bob weight should rotate 360 it sounds like a small screw as come loose and jammed the weight just see if you can nudge it from side to side to see if it releases it, if not you will need to remove the weight to see whats stopping it going round..

My Cartier Roadster does not keep time in my watch winder, all other brands work except this one. Any idea why, should the winder be set at clockwise, counter-clockwise, or bi-directional.

I believe the Roadster uses the 2892 movement and as such should wind in either direction. Find a competent watchmaker and ask him/her to check the automatic winding mechanism for proper rotation. I am assuming this is a real Cartier.

How can I get or order my cartier authentic roadster chronograph 62019X6 watch for mens (XL) manual?

I have looked at their site and they do not list instruction manuals but they do give a "contact us" link and they should be able to supply the manual you need.

Go to http://www.cartier.co.uk/#/contact-us/contact-us/call-an-advisor , select your area and contact the address/phone number given.

Cant restart my cartier roadster chronograph. havent been using it for a couple of days and the movement wont start. please help

If the watch is quartz its a cell replacement, use a watchmaker on a watch of this value. If its an automatic watch then you may be looking at a repair/service.A watch of this quality needs regular servicing at 4 years or so as lubrication drys. For work of this nature you will need a specialist watchmaker try www.rolexrepairs.co.uk

I have a new Carter Roadster with a metal band. It needs to be adjusted to be smaller. Any ideas?

Take it to a competent watchmaker, (phonebook, internet search, etc.) not a jeweler although a Cartier jeweler would be able to assist you.

Watch not working

Synchronization of the chronograph hand do not affect any watch movement to work properly and it is ment for correct time measuring only.
If your watch does not work properly there is some kind of fault in it and you will need to see a watchmaker to diagnoze it.
