Cd player improper grounding

Improper power..ground..check yellow and red wires for good connection. Use heat shrink ..solder..take time..recheck everything u have done thus far and ensure faceplate is securely on front of unit

Eric, you'll need to check power and ground at the CD Player Connector. If it has both power and ground then you need a new CD Player. If it doesn't have either power or ground, which ever one it deosn't have you'll need to find out where it gets it power from OR where it gets its ground from and repair it. It sounds like you are getting bleed through from another device...radio, cd player...etc. This is caused by improper grounding. Some where there is a wire not connected correctly or you need to ground the whole system.

I ran into the same problem with my mustang. Your vehicle uses a common ground for the speaker wire. Modern cd players have a safety mechanism that cuts power to the speakers if an improper ground or short is detected. Run new speaker wires to your speakers. Make sure you don't run a screw through them when putting everything back together. Just one speaker wire shorted out will kill power to all four speakers.

unhook black wire from harness and the ground from pioneer unit install the ground wire from pioneer unit to frame of car (you may need extra wire to do this) make sure the black wire from pioneer unit is bolted to frame of car not to the harness black wire........fuses will no longer blow and you will have your lights.

Check connections behind dash, especially ground. Make sure no wires are crossed/touching, and make sure all connections are strong. If still a problem check grounding from battery to frame....maybe even consider running the "ground" wire from your CD player to your frame.

You already clean the laser lens.

connect the black wires, thats your grounding circuit.
