You are undertaking quite difficult task. I'm not very sure that the assembling the watch from separately bought parts will be cheaper than the complete watch itself.
Anyway, if you decided to do so- go ahead.
First you have to consider what type of watch you want- mechanical or quartz.
Second - what features would you like: simple classical layout, type of seconds hand, chrono layout, maybe with subdials and so on e.t.c.
Let me know all this and I will guide you through all the stages and may even help with part supplies.
Make can be considered later as very many watch parts are interchangeable.

Does anybody know the correct part number or provide a link where I can purchase a Bezel ratchet spring for Tag Heuer WAC1113.BA0850 Formula 1?

Hi thank you for answers but it doesn't help me given I already have the bezel off. What I actually need is the actual size of the Spring? I know they are available to buy on eBay and watches.com.uk but to not even bother to respond to you inquiries for some reason?

Does anybody know the correct size of the "friction/ ratchet bezel spring" on a Tag Heuer WAC1113.ba0850 model 2004 - 2007 ?

The quartz Tag I have stops when I am not wearing it for a day or two. It is 18 months old. What do I do?

Battery in watch was fitted at the time of assembly, not at the point of sale. Replace the battery and ask watchmaker to check if the watch is OK at once.

Dear Sir, The main ticking seconds arm had stopped suddenly.Anything wrong ?? Moreover, I got very slight scartches on the crystal watch cover. How does this happen if the crystal is saphire and anti...

mcdevito75 here, Hello David, Tag Heur a very fine watch, First I would make sure it is the seconds hand that stopped and not the Chrono. hand, I would also go over any instructions that came with the watch, about the light scratches on the saphire crystal, the crystal is scratch resistant to a point, and can occur almost anyway, rubbing up against something harder than the crystal itself, (certain Stones and materials) even if your in a dusty place scratches can occur on any crystal. Check with your warrantee, you should be covered.

Where can I purchase bb0316 links for women's tag heuer band?

Hi,

If your watch is older than 4 years you can't buy links unless you get real lucky and find a watchmaker that happens to have some on hand.

Swatch sold Tag Heuer about 4 years ago to Louis Vitton. LVMH did not purchase the parts for watches made prior to the sale of the company. So all those parts are no longer available.

If your watch is less than 4 years old you can contact Tag Heuer directly for the links.

Hope this helps,

Ken

I am about to buy tag heuer link calibre 36 limited edition 1996/2000 and is got these numbers at the base cn111b.ba0337 and a signature and a japanese name is this watch original? thanks

Fake Tags are common! The only surefire way to tell if its real is by the movement! They use Swiss ETA movements. Fakes use Japanese movements! If you are purchasing this watch online...well good luck! If you can take it to a watch repair company then I would suggest that before you buy so they can open the case back and see what kind of movement is in it! A real Tag will cost upwards of $1500 plus and I would think a Limited Edition would be even more!

Good luck!

Can tag heuer link bracelet be repaired? seperating in the middle

It depends.

First if the Tag watch is older then it cannot be repaired by Tag and Tag won't have any parts for it.

If it is new, Tag should have the parts and a watchmaker or Tag themselves could repair your band. Although I would suggest a watchmaker over Tag if you can find one willing to deal with Tag for the parts. Expect this to take months to get the right link parts.

If it is older then we have repaired some of these with laser welding. Although there is no guarantee as to how long the welds will last, it does seem to work out for a while.

The ones we have done have lasted several years. In fact we just had a customer send his watch back in for a battery and we had welded his Tag clasp back together about 3+ years ago and it is still working just fine.

Hope this helps,
Ken

I have lost the connecting pin link on my watch which connects the watch to actual strap, where can i buy a new one

This is most likely a metal band and the part you are talking about is the head piece. I do not know of any outlets that sale the head piece by itself. You will most likely have to buy a replacement band either from the watch manufacturer or an after market watch band supplier like Speidel.
