SOURCE: E1 F5 error on self cleaning oven
Press the self-clean button. The panel becomes blank(---), then press
the up arrow( ^ ). The panel will appear 3:00 (indication for the
duration of self-cleaning). The oven will lock on its own and start the
self-cleaning.
This code means the control has detected a problem with the door latch
switch. Switch is defective and needs replaced. Part # is W10107820 and
cost is $39.99. You can get it at http://www3.sears.com/.
Before calling a repair shop,go to the circuit breaker box and
turn off the power to the oven. then turn it back on and then see if the door is released and the error is cleared.
its probaly bent door latch or door sensor gone bad. try pushing on the door when you start the clean cycle see if that helps.
if not our suggestion would be to replace the part....
good luck...

Hi,
You have one or two possibilities here, one is your control board is
going out. The second is that the Latch to the door, or switch is
failing causing the clean door message.
The cheapest fix would be to inspect the door latch and switch to make sure it is making solid contact.
A POSITIVE RATING WOULD BE HIGHLY APPRECIABLE.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

SOURCE: E1 F5 Error when trying to use Self Cleaning Option
The E1- F5 error is a door lock error.
The control (TIMER) has likely failed in this instance - BUT...
Sometimes when you disconnect power to a range and reconnect it the electronic range control gets confused.
You should disconnect power again for 15 seconds and reconnect and see if that helps.
If it doesn't cure the E1- F5 error hold the bake button in until E0- F2 appears in the display.
This is the error for a stuck button on the keypad and is the way to clear the memory of the electronic range control.
Sometimes these work, but if the control has failed it won't make any difference.
