Hey . just wondering how do i connect my phonic max 2500 amp to my Numark M6 USB mixer. then i will be connecting my laptop up to the mixer..

The clip LED normally means you are overworking the channel and it is going into protection mode. Make sure and the cables and connectors as clean and have no stray wires from grounding.

You would connect the xlr left and right outputs to a power amplifier and then the speakers to the power amp. The mixer will not drive a set of speakers by itself.

Replace it. I'm on my second one. http://www.instrumentalparts.com/xf-m6usb.html thinking of getting another type of mixer.

If you have fader capabilities...and there is still signal "leaking" through...you may try reducing your input gain on each channel of your mixer...as well as make sure you have a good ground connection between your components.

Are you using a Mixer as a pre-amp for this set-up? For example, I have a Numark CM200 where I have all of the inputs and outputs I need to run. DJ IO is connected to Chanel 1 and Chanel 2 Lines in my mixer. The DJ IO is conected to my computer by USB cable. In Traktor souncard settings chanel 1 is set to (3&4) Chanel 2 (2&1) also, devise set up is Numark DJ IO and in External mode. Of course the mixer is conected to my amp and speakers conected to the amp as well.
