check your owners manual to ensure it is not in the sabbath mode. if this is ok their could be a low voltage board problem behind the display or high voltage board in the rear of the refrigerator. unplugged the refrigerator before proceeding to repair it.

There is a switch for the light. If it isn't a mechanical switch where the drawers slide in, it will be a magnetic switch in the edge of the drawer

The door seal has a magnetic property to it. Until the freezer gets to a certain degree the magnetic porperties of the door seal dont react properly. Make sure the door seal is properly adjusted. If the door was left open it could have semi warped the door. This gets corrected when temp drops to correct temp. Reset freezer by unplugging and waiting for a few minutes. If problem persist contact appliance technician.

A noisy chest freezer can be more than aggravating, it can also be a sign that something may be wrong with the appliance. With a little investigation, you will be able to find the cause for the noise so that you can determine how to rectify it.

Self-defrosting
If you chest freezer is a self-defrosting variety, you will find that it has a fan on one of the inside walls that enables this process to take place. Open the door and check whether this makes the sound worse; if this is the case, the problem is likely to lie with the fan. Ensure that it is not blocked by any food items or ice and is running properly. Clear away any items that are blocking it and tighten any loose fasteners. The motor that runs the fan can also cause a noise if it is old or defective and is struggling to continue running, if this is the case, the motor will need to be replaced.

Door Seal
Examine the door seal of the chest freezer to ensure that it is intact and has no defects. If there is a problem with the seal, it can prevent the door from closing properly which will force the freezer to work harder as it will also be cooling the air around the freezer. Replace the door seal and ensure that the door is able to close properly to see if this reduces the noise.

Element
The wire element that is either located on the rear or the base of your chest freezer. The element can often become noisy after getting covered in dust and debris. Rectify this by switching off the power supply before vacuuming the element. Carefully use a cloth to clean any other surrounding components that are affected by stubborn grime.

Ice Build Up
Where your chest freezer is unable to regulate itself, you may find that it can suffer a buildup of ice. When the ice become sufficiently thick, it will stop the freezer from being effective and will force the motor to work harder in order for it to keep working. Prevent this problem by defrosting your freezer on a regular basis or whenever it is required.

Condenser Fan
The condenser fan is likely to be located at the rear of the freezer and can become noisy if it is defective or covered in dirt. After switching off the power supply, use a cloth to clean the blades of the condenser fan if you find that the noise is coming from this component.

Compressor
The compressor is the black box that you will find on the base or rear of your freezer and is where the normal noise of the running the freezer comes from. The pipes and wires necessary for the freezer to work stem from this box and can become noisy if there is a problem, which is more likely with an older appliance. A defective compressor cannot be repaired so it will need to be replaced.

first thing you would do is turn off or unplug the unit for 12 hours then when you plug the unit in before hand you would remove the rear panel on the inside of the freezer. then pluging in the unit again you would have to distinguish if this is caused by your icemaker and the water not going into the ice tray or if you have a defrost issue with your unit where as one of the defrost pieces such as the defrost timer the defrost heater or the defrost thermostat is not activating properly when these pieces do not activate it forms a build up of ice around the evaporator which is found in the rear of that panel but I personally think the issue is coming from when the water comes into your icemaker and maybe the icemaker is not recognizing that it is full and continues to pump water into the unit or the tube that brings the icemaker water is not aligned properly. there are two vent holes in the bottom of the door that need to be seal closed there has been air leaking in from these holes also the rear air diffuser should be solid and the vent holes in it coverd as well.then you nee to take one or two small washers and remove the front panel inside the freezer and put the washer between the panel so there is a small gap between the top of the freezer and the divider

If the door seals are still pliable and intact there are two possible causes.

1/ The upper door hinge on the top of freezer unit has two adjusting screws under a plastic cover/cap which allows the upper hinge to be set forward or back altering/adjusting the spacing of the door seal to the freezer body. Moving the hinge outward at the top will cause the door to seal tighter at the bottom and lessen escaping cold air and condensation to form (water droplets). Adjust carefully so as not to create a weak seal (air gap) along other sealing edges of the door frame.

2/ Many United Refrigeration Commercial Freezers are manual defrosting. Moisture from inside the freezer can condense between the inner molded door panel (door shelves) and the exterior metal door. Usually ice buildup will occur in this space, but when defrosting or during high ambient temps the ice will melt and drip out along the bottom door edge/seal. Screws alomg the door frame (hidden by the door seal) hold the seal in place and also the inner molded door panel. The inner panel can be removed to replace the seal or to remove the ice buildup.

there must be a basket that is bent ,
