I have sis 661fx Motherboard with intel 3.06 GHz processor with 1gb Ram.I have installed Win 7 last month.The Aero feature is not working on my system.i tried to update the drivers but wen i troubleshoot for AERO theme it give me this error-(The current video card may support Aero with a driver that is compliant with the Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM). Its not the motherboard, its the processor speed, RAM size, and hard drive space, and video card capability that counts.Your processor speed well meets this criteria and also your RAM size is within spec for Windows 7, and im sure you will have in excess of 16GiG hard drive space.
