Correct, there are no flying spring screws. However, the screw on the pop-up light cover is very tiny, so you have to be careful not to strip or lose. Make sure you use the proper tools.

How to change the bulb?

hi,
do the following steps to change the lamp of your projector.

1. Turn the power off and disconnect the projector from the wall socket.
2. Turn the projector over. Then loosen the screws and remove the lamp cover. If the lamp is hot, avoid burns by waiting for 45 minutes until the lamp has cooled.

3. Move the latch to another end as shown in the picture.
ajin_g_20.gif

4. Loosen the screw that holds the lamp to the projector. If the screw is not loosened
completely, they could injure your fingers. It is strongly recommended that you use a
magnetic-head screwdriver.
ajin_g_21.gif
5. Lift the handle so that it stands up. Use the handle to slowly pull the lamp out of the projector.

6. Insert a new lamp. Make sure the handle is fully locked, move the latch back, and
tighten the screw firmly.
ajin_g_23.gif
7. Re-install the lamp cover and tighten the screw. Do not turn the power on with the lamp cover removed. Whenever the lamp is replaced, reset the total lamp operation time. Do not reset if the lamp is not replaced as this could cause damage.

8. Resetting the lamp counter
i. Press and hold the Exit 5 button on the projector for 5
seconds to display the total used lamp time.
ii. Press Auto on the projector or on the remote control to
reset the lamp hour to "0".
iii. Wait about 5 seconds to let the OSD disappear.

No instructions on lamp replacement for this tv.can you help

With the TV off, unplugged and having cooled down for at least on hour (you can force it to cool faster see the manual), take off the front cover. Grip it from both sides and pull it away from the TV. Loosen the screw that holds the lamp cover and remove the cover. Next loosen the screw that holds the lamp in place. Pull the lamp out slowly by the handle. Handle the new lamp with a cloth to avoid oils and dirt getting on the lamp. Put in the new lamp making sure to properly align it in the TV. Retighten the lamp screw and then put on the cover and tighten its screw. Replace the front cover. If the screws and lamp cover are not correctly positioned, the TV will not work (a protective circuit is involved).

Next reset the lamp time (instructions should have come with the replacement lamp). Wait until the lamp notice disappears from the TV screen. Press and hold the Vol down button on the TV while pressing the Split/Play button on the remote. Hold both buttons until you see a notice that the lamp time was reset (about 4-5 seconds).

For a download version of your manual, see http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/support/Televisions/LCD-Projection-TVs/model.PT-50LC14 .

I hope this helps.

WERE exactly is the Lamp in my T.V ?

You must remove the plastic cover from the front and just left of center there is a panel covering the lamp with a single screw. Under that the lamp is also held in with a single screw. Pull on the handle firmly to remove lamp. Replace with TY-LA1000 bulb.

No visual just sound, what can i do ?

replace the lamp! the model number for the lamp is...ux21511. On the front of your tv there is a panel that runs from left to righ across the bottom thats 6 to 7 inches tall remove it. once you did this look at the lower left hand side of the unit. there will be a yellow label on the little door or hatch. remove the screw and take off the hatch. after that look at the inside of this it looks like a rectangular box. remove the two screws directly in front of you and carefully remove the lamp. its attached to the cover you just pulled after you removed the screws. reverse these steps to reinstall the new lamp. there you go problem solved!

Indicator showing LAMP. Does this indicate the lamp needs replacing?

Yes. The lamp is timed and the replacement indicator signals when the lamp is near end of life. If the lamp fails catastrophically it makes a mess... best to replace before that happens.

Replacing the tail light

Look inside behind the light and see if there is an access cover, if not you will have to remove the tail lamp to replace the bulb. If you open the rear hatch and look at the lamp you should see a couple of screws that hold the lamp to the car. Remove these and pull the light out.
