Whirlpool elite regardless of cycle, that i set washer on it usually, will stop and start flashing f than 21, i have tried everything! i am by myself and have cancer, so i cannot afford repairmen. sometimes if i turn it off, door will open, of course out pours half of the water! please any input would help!

To access the drain pump there is a panel, held with vew screws , sometimes you need to remove a plasic protection to access it.

All maintainance must be done with power unplugged, and by expperinced repairers.

Check first the drain hose access inside the machine, and the drain hose connection at the back of the machine, then access th e drain pump, be prepared, there will be water coming out when you access the pump.

On the bottom front cover. There are two screws on each side. They might be torx screws so you may need to get the special addeptor to make it work right. But on the bottom there a four screws two on each side
