Security Hai my mob is n73.i need ur help. iwant to put securitycode b,coz when i left my mob in my office some other can see my msg and my photos i have in it.So i always want to switch offf my mob when i go out.i have put one security code (pin code) that when i switch on my mob it will ask pincode that is good but i want to give security when it on also please help me giving me an answer.

if you have not changed your security code ,then the default security code for nokia mobiles is 12345

press [*,calling button,and 3 ] at same time when phone is off next press power button it will formating ur mob

12345.coz i use tat security code no 2 change my security code.i hope u change the security code no..its 4 ur hp safety.

go 2 ur setting.then find security setting.

then change ur security level 2 phone level.

untill unless it will get disconnect before finish its update..it ll affect ur parent board of ur mob...so better check ur main board whether workin or not..after tat ll go for further

contact ur sim customer care and give ur last 4digit no of ur sim..then they ll give one puk code to u..use tat and open ur mob

u try to switch off the mob and take the battery and sim.after some time u put all and see it may work. r other wise try the following web sites.......

HI dude,
to bypass the security, i hv got a trick.
When phone is locked by security code, there is unlock option at the left side of the screen above left soft key.
Press and hold left soft key and * button at once.
If u do it properly, a message "press * to unlock" appears. Press * quickly at that time n u will bypass the security code.
U should try it several times to success coz it is tricky.

Your phone needs to be reprogrammed, only a repair shop can do this for you.

You need to download the latest Nokia PC Suite to do an update on your phone.
Before updating software you should check that there’s a newer version of software available.

WARNING
When updating software on Mobs, be sure to:
HAVE A FULLY CHARGED BATTERY INSERTED;
PUT IT ON GENERAL PROFILE;
TURN OFF YOUR PIN NUMBER;
CONNECT YOUR CHARGER TO YOUR MOB AND SWITCH IT ON;
DO NOT ----- DO NOT ---- TOUCH YOUR PHONE WHILE THE UPDATE IS GOING ON;
THIS CAN TAKE 30 MINUTES OR MORE.
And obviously don’t unplug the phone from the PC.
Be patient, you may have to do a restart or two on your mob afterwards. Even remove the battery to get it going again (not recommended). But give it plenty of time.
It is also wise not to use your PC while updating software, just in case the PC freezes.
If the PC freezes during an update, you’re up the creek without a paddle...
