Kenmore model 23032 top loader. Clothes are still really wet after entire wash cycle is done. Appears that water is still running during the spin cycle.

Things tend to intertwine in the washer, even more so in front loaders. The only things that I have found that help is to use fabric softener, a gentler cycle, and an extra rinse. This alleviates the problem some for me, but it doesn't really go away entirely.

Plug off the mains. Check your pump to see if anything is blocking it. If no blocks there check your brushes on the motor. See that all connections are tight. Due to vibrations some become loose or just come off. People dump their machines for minor defects!
sounds like your transmission is not working properly. check your warranty information. (should be in your owners manual) many of the whirlpool made top loaders came with a 5 year warranty on the transmission/gear case
Is this the same model as listed by the previous poster? If so, does the washer ATTEMPT to go into the spin cycle? That is, does the timer advance to spin cycle properly, and can you hear the transmission or drive motor engage?
