No sound on my Sanyo LCD 32" flat screen tv

I can change channels and picture is fine. Just no sound on any channel. When I cut it off last night eveything was fine. When I cut it on this morning I had picture but no sound. When I hit the volume key the bar goes up and the mute button shows mute on TV but I can not get any sound.

Not sure, my daughter has the TV in her room and it is doing the same thing... Working fine w/ a picture but no sound on any channel. Can you assist with this problem?

I have the same problem. I just bought this t.v. 3 days ago. When I watch cable, I have sound. When I play my Wii...no sound. Im so irritated. I have contacted nintendo and its NOT the Wii. The Wii has sound on all my other tv's.

I had this same problem this morning. Luckily, when I reset the whole thing and did the channel search again the sound returned. I have no idea why it fixed it but it did. Hope this helps you.

I've done that at least twice but still no sound. Maybe I'm not so lucky.

I have a Sanyo 32" flat screen and last night December 14th 2015 I had no sound so I started doing everything a human could possibly do to get the sound back.....Yep....unplug everything and plug it back in and now it's getting close to game time for Monday Nite football so I called Time Warner and after talking to 2 women I finally got put on the phone with a man that said just reset the cable box and you'll have your sound back....Yep he was right and it worked....Don't go doing what I did and start unplugging anything....Just unplug the cable box and wait 10 seconds and then plug it back in and let it recycle....Bingo

Happened to me.
Press RESET on the remote.
Let it search for channels.
Sound will be back.
Don't unhook any cables or anything.

Sanyo plasma tv help is here!!
WAIT!! Don't go throwing your TV's out all is not lost believe it or not :).. The sound went out on my tv I did the following Disconnect it from AC power, then press and hold the power button on the TV, and not the remote, for 10 seconds. After another minute, plug the set back in and press power once. Then try the other sound out from your TV to a set of speakers etc. it did not help But!!!!! I said to my husband I wonder if we can plug some speakers into the TV he unhooked our computer speakers and hooked them up to the back of the TV (there is a usb plug in in the back) anyway VOILA!!!! it worked!!! so I know we will be buying another TV before long but I think this one will work just fine until then :) hope this helps someone!!

No sound on t.v. but popping and crackling from speaker

Sanyo sets have a horrible track record, if the set is still under warranty return it. The problem could be in either the power supply or main board. It will have to be diagnosed properly to be sure.

With my Sony Bravia 46" xbr the screen keeps cutting out. I'm usig hdmi cables and can't find a reason why te tv keeps cutting out. The sound still remains but picture doesn't. Not even out technician can...

Usually this happens to my set when I am in HD cable channel mode after being on a non-digital ANALOG channel.

I basically reset the TV by changing to a DIGITAL cable channel -- stay on that channel for ten-twenty seconds -- then I switch back DIRECTLY to a HD channel (key in channel number directly on remote).

TV works fine -- seems to be a glitch when the TV changes modes from Analog to HD

Channel displaying on Samsung 32"LCD TV

Most remote controls have a "display" button. Pressing that is what gets that channel number on the screen. Try pressing it again and the display should turn off. On some brands the display may cycle through various combinations (channel number only, channell and time, etc.) before it goes away, so it may take more than one press of the button.
