Check for interference in the room equipments like microwave, powerful radio transmitters or walkies. try shutting off all the electronic and magnetic devices in the routers proximity and try connecting again. Depending what router you have and whats your isp you will need different steps for different combinations. So your best bet is to conference your isp and router manufacturer so they cant blame each other.

I hope this helps

How to connect to internet doesnt recognize router password

Are you sure of Wifi password is correct?
if so, 1st; try restarting your ipad by holding down power/sleep button untill it show "Slide to shut down" leave it off for 10 seconds & then re-open it.enter the Wifi -password, sometimes this step works.

2nd solution ; try resetting your iPad network settings, it will not affect your ipad in any thing except it will forget all entered passwords for any wifi you have already connected before. go to General from Setting, choose resett, and inside only reset network setting, shut down ipad & try to connect to the wifi again. Hope this solution work for you. Also you may try shutting down & opening your router again after 10 seconds while off. Good Luck.

Remote connection

You cannot connect to 192.168.1.150 from work. Thats an private adress. You need to know your routers public ip adress to connect to it. The correct port in your firewall (ie 80) also needs to be opened

Im trying to connect to the internet but my nintendo dsi sais there is no access point in range

This problem means that you dont have any wifi in your location. Here's what to do.

  1. First, find a place where Wifi Connection is free. Then after finding the location do this.
  2. On your nintendo dsi desktop, go to system settings.
  3. Then go to the Internet.
  4. After going to the internet. Go to Connection Configuration.
  5. Then at the next page, tap the sentence " Search for an Access Point," this will search for available wifi in your area,
  6. Then a list of wifi connections will appear on your DSI, choose one with a open-lock Icon, this icon means it is shared and you dont have to use any passwords in logging in.
  7. And once your connected to the wifi, you can now access your internet.
Goodluck, Thank you for using Fixya! Have a nice day!

Hello. my problem goes this way. we have WiFi router at home and we can connect our laptop with it so we can access internet easily. there's no problem about when last night i dont know why i even...

Theencryption key secures your data from unauthorized access. The router's password is a Passphrase or the WEP or WPA orWPA2 encryption key. The Passphrase generates the WEP or WPA or WPA2 encryptionkey and this is in the router's wireless settings. To connect to your wireless router, configure the router'swireless settings ie SSID, plus the WPAor WPA2 encryption key and then configure wireless cards in the laptops and orcomputers with these router's wireless settings. Then the laptops and desktopcomputers can communicate with your wireless router.

New to wireless networking, never used before. Purchased a dlin dir615 router for my home and also to be able to connect our new archos 101 tablets at home. I followed the setup disk to connect the router...

Have you updated your firmware on your Archos 101? If you can get to a public wifi hotspot like at a McDonalds or Starbucks you should be able to download the latest firmware (you can force the tablet to check for it by going to Settings - About Device - Firmware Update).
The latest firmware included several fixes for WiFi issues that previous firmware versions struggled with.
I would try that, attempt to connect again at home, and if it's still not working switch your troubleshooting focus to the router itself.

I cant find out how to connect the wifi to the computer . Im not even sure that my computer has wifi and i dont know the password

Check your computer manual or see if there is a wifi label sticker on your computer. Likely if it's a newer computer you will have wireless functionality. For your type of issue, there would need to be further digging if you could give the type of computer/make and model etc.
