The stereo used to have an AUX function which worked fine, but my girlfriend's mum was messing with it and now that function has disappeared. I keep pressing the Source button, but it just cycles between CD and Tuner. The manual's lost. How do I bring the AUX option back?
Hi I have a Sony xplod 52wx4 stereo in our car and my music keeps stopping. What happens is I plug my AUX cord into the port and my phone, sometimes it plays for a few moments and stops and comes up as pause on my phone and other times it plays for a good minute and doesn't stop. Every time it stops it come up on the stereo as FRONT IN when I go on aux. The first time I tried it was great but as soon as it started coming up as FRONT IN on the stereo I've started having problems. Any help you can offer would be amazing.

Are you sure it is an AUX input? According to the Manufacturers Specs, the AUX, is an optional accessory. There is a Pre-Amp connection, which would be an output, hence causing the problem you are having. Best of Luck.

I HAVE A SIMILAR MODEL AND I HAVE TO HIT THE SOURCE BUTTON TILL AUX APPEARS MAY BE A RADIO MALFUNCTIO
SOURCE: MP3, IPOD, CD doesn't appear when I press "Source"
Easy.
If you read your owner's maunal, page 26, the USB is designed for a flash drive (up to 4GB), not an Ipod.
If you would like to play your iPOD, purchase the IPC008 (Ipod Lead) and you're done!
SOURCE: put in new car battery, now can't get aux to work
Hi there
hold down the source button to turn off the unit (unit must be off)
now hold down the function button till it beeps once it has done this press the function button i think 3 or 4 times and you will get a message on your deck unit saying (aux - on,off) turn on and press the source button to turn the unit back on to the CD or radio now press source button2 or 3 times till Aux shows up (press means push it let it go) (hold means don't take your finger off button)
hope this solves your problem
