I have a 50 inch 720p vizio and I cant seem to take off the subtitles. The subtitles pop up by them self and are annoying. The TV menu doesn't have any thing about taking off or putting on subtitles.

Just go to the colour calibration settings on the Vizio 50 it should recognise if you're in UHD and have setting for it. If it does not then google software updates for it and see what pops up. Good Luck.
if you plug in the set, and the "Vizio" light isn't orange, most likely you have a faulty power supply board. Tests will need to be performed to be sure.
I gather from what the information you gave that one of the devices is 1080i and the other is 720P. One of the devices , in this case the Vizio TV is auto correcting the picture frame. Explanation: the PS3 is sending video in 720p and the Vizio is trying ot auto correct this issue thinking the video signal is incorrect and adjusting to fit the screen. Check your instruction manual for both device and the correct setting to get the correct video experience. There may be a incompatibility issue here.
As I had stated, it is NOT a P50HDTV10A! It is a VP50HDTV204! if you can't get that right, I feel
that you could'nt fix any problem. All I'm trying to do is get a manual for a Vizio VP50HDTV204 television.
