I have a samsung model: RF266AASH. It leaks water around the dispensor as you try to fill a glass of water.
Hi, this is a seal leak. its located behind the water release point. it could also be cracked, the assembly that is, but im sure its just a seal issue.
this is a click on type of design. you can use a flat head screw drive to pry it away. there are release clips that are holding it in place. its the shut off valve seal that you will want to replace. be careful when prying off the face. its quite fragile.
check the inside door panel for screws behind the weather stripping.
ok, no problem
yes, i searched for the manual/diagram and, i was told that it is not available at this time. im not sure why its not. the only way to get that manual/diagram is to contact the manufacture.
I would go to the Samsung main website. you will need the model number and serial/ bar code num as well. it will be under the support tab. it should be in pdf form.
samsung.com
no problem

The problem is : if you are right, how can i get into it to repair it? It looks to be a sealed unit.
Thanks for the tips. I'll give it a try.
The first problem with removing it is that it's located inside the refrigerator along the left wall. Not the door. thus very difficult to remove the plate without seeing what i'm trying to pry loose . need a diagram .
so... where do i get an exploded diagram ?
well.. thanks for trying it was very helpful!
Thanks again.
