HP PSC 1510 will not print after new ink cart. was installed

I changed the print cart. and it never has printed again. I installed a new
HP black 92 cartridge. The error message said to reinstall the cartridge. That did not work. It was preformed several times.

Dear
You can follow the link. Yes you do have to install 2 carts. to work the printer. However from printer setting you may disable color print.
Note Ink cart head gets clogged when not used prolonged time.

Guess you could try another cart, but first have a good look to make sure nothing is preventing it from seating correctly, and that seals look OK

Black cartridge "incompatible"

Nowadays, the cartridges have a microchip installed to assure you are not using "unauthorized" ink. Maybe the chip is defective. try replacing it with another cartridge and take that one back to the store for an exchange.

good luck

Hp psc 1510 - only want black ink

Hi Manavoc,

I will explain you the cause for it.

It prints in yellow first and then override with black for better quality. This is the reason your color ink gets empty.

Printer issue

I can only suggest that you should use genuine HP ink carts. Try all new carts and realign again. Hopefully it is under warranty. HP is good at exchanging.
