TV is only a couple of years old. But it has thin colored lines running horizontally about 5 inches in on the right side. Sometimes the lines are red, sometimes they are blue and green and red.
Nothing you can do about that...get used to it or change the TV.
It's a defect in the panel that can't be reliably fixed.

If you do not have any bad capacitors Problem will be the Display Panel

More than likely your control board. Available at www.partstore.com Cost could be between $130 and $200. Not that complicated to install if you can use a screwdriver and are careful. Let me know how this works out.
