My Asko d3121 dishwasher won't finish its cycle and starts making a rattling sound. There is standing water left in the machine also. I have removed the water and allowed the machine to dry out, only to have it happen again when I tried using it.
Something must have gotten past the filters and in the pump. Your going to have to pull the unit out and take a closer look inside the motor. You will find some kind of foreign debris cought inside. Even popcorn kernels can do this.
I had tried several failed attempts to fix this problem. Finally I got on my knees and asked God to make the dishwasher run in Christ's name. The dishwasher just completed it's first cycle without any problems.
