I also hate to tell you this, but you might want to try purchasing another copy of Photoshop, or speaking directly to Adobe, if that is a legitimate copy you are having difficulty with . While I like to consider myself an honest and fair person and will never cheat someone- there are people that have no doubt come across this post and are using that serial number and activation code to activate their own illegal versions now.
It is for this reason you should NEVER show your product serial number or activation code to ANYONE unless you know them and trust them well enough not to pirate your software. the serial number is your "proof of purchase".
