Not 100 percent on this model. But most point and shoots are the same for things like that. there should be a O' type symbol on your point and shoor, ether a button or a on screen option. it likes something like O' but put together

How do I set up the auto timer on my Cascio EX-S5 EXILIM canera ?

In the record mode, press MENU, select the Rec tab, select "Self-timer", then select the desired mode. Start the self-timer by pressing the shutter release button.

Full details are in the "Using the Self-timer" section of the manual (page 62 in my copy). If you need the manual, you can download one from the manufacturer's web site at

My camera is not connecting to the computer! its a casio exilim EX-Z80A

Consider NOT connecting the camera to the computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

My casio ex-z80a turns off automatically

This is pretty obvious but it bears asking, Have you checked your batteries? If the batteries are low, digitals will shut down. Check your battery connections to make sure that all are making good contact. You may need to adjust them by bending slightly.
If this doesn't help, try a default reset. take the battery out and if there's a memory battery, take that out too let it sit for a bit and then reinstall.
Hope this help get you back running.

Yes, it has a self-timer.

In the REC mode, press [MENU]. Use left/right to select the "REC" tab. Use up/down to select "Self-timer" and then press right. Use up/down to make your choice and press SET. Selecting "Off" in the last step turns off the self-timer.

Casio Exilim EX-Z1200 Self-timer will not turn on.

Hi . I get this problem too . You need to ensure that the picture setting is Portrait rather than black/white etc as it doesn't work on all modes!
