I don't think chin straps will help you to overcome with the snoring problems. There are many other products like Asonor anti snoring nasal spray which help you to recover from the snoring in few weeks of using it.

I bought a chin strap that holds your mouth together to try and stop you from snoring, and it cost me around $7. I think I got it at Amazon but after that I saw it in my local pharmacy as well for around the same price.

But just be warned...I found mine really uncomfortable and my girlfriend said I looked like a monster in it, so I had to give it up after a week.

SOURCE: Is snoring only caused by being overweight? I am asking because my husband has started snoring recently but he is really skinny so I can't understand why he is doing it.

Being overweight is definitely a factor in snoring but there are many other reasons why people snore, such as; having a cold or any sinus issues, after drinking alcohol, allergies and even just from the anatomy of a person's mouth. If it's really bothering you, ask your husband to check with the doctor what might be causing it.

What is the best snoring aid or device to use so that I can go to sleep finally?

If you snore heavily, you can try a chin strap, a moistening throat spray, a dental insert that helps hold the jaw forward, and wearing a T-shirt backwards with a tennis ball sewn in the breast pocket so if you roll onto your back you\'ll roll right off it again. (Laying on your back worsens snoring for most people--and so does sleeping face down with your neck twisted.) BUT : Most importantly, ask if you should GET TESTED for Obstructive Sleep Apnea! If you snore so heavily others complain or you wake yourself or you are often tired and sleepy, etc...you may have diagnosed sleep apnea, and it can be lead to sudden heart arrest in your sleep and long-term heart damage over years. It raises your risk of diabetes, hypertension, obesity, depression, and more. Find out!

Can anyone help me choose an anti snoring device? There seem to be so many and it's confusing.

Choosing from the massive range of anti snoring devices can be overwhelming. It really depends whether you are dealing with chronic, mild snoring or other breathing problems. Make sure you get some medical advice before you spend money.

Take a look at this consumer report which gives a good overview of some of the many products out there on the market today;

I have been buying the Breathe Right nasal strips for my nose to try and eliminate my snoring. So far it's been fairly successful but they are expensive to keep buying if I am going to use them in

You could always try making your own. It takes a bit of effort but if you think this is something you will be investing in frequently, it might be worth making your own and seeing if it saves you enough money to be worth the effort.

Take a look at this youtube video where he demonstrates how to make nasal strips from pringle lids and band aids!

I heard there is an anti snoring chin strap. Has anyone use one? And do they work?

I don't think so that any other device will work effectively for snoring is my personal experience. As I have already used and tried many options other than surgery. Even I took consultation through many doctors about my snoring problems, but no result. Finally I came to know about Asonor effective Anti Snoring solution

Can nasal strips help with snoring problems? They sell them in my local pharmacy and I am thinking of trying them but they are very expensive.

Nasal strips are basically adhesive strips that are applied to the nose, helping to create more space in the nasal passage which reduces the blocked air feeling that leads to snoring.

Nasal strips can be very effective but it really depends what the cause is of your snoring.

You could check with your doctor before you buy any and ask him/ her if they think it would be helpful in your case.
