Hello, my doc prescribed me to try mandibular advancement device as a possible cure for my snoring problems. He recommended having that device https://www.exsnorer.org/reviews/vitalsleep/. It doesn't look promising, to tell the truth. Can you help me to decide if it's a good idea to buy that stuff?

Look up CPAP devices on the net where you can find a lot of info how to deal with the problem of snoring and other sleep related problems. Snoring may just indicate some other more intense problems exist.
You can contact Sleepnet in Johburg or Centurion.

Just check out some anti-snoring devices available in the market.

1. Nasal Strips - It helps in pulling out your nostrils apart while sleeping.

2. Oral devices - They are placed under the chin to stop your mouth from falling open during sleep.

3. Vestibular shield - It fits easily inside your mouth blocking the airflow and thus, forcing you to breathe through your nose. Asonor effective award winning Anti Snoring solution

SOURCE: Is snoring only caused by being overweight? I am asking because my husband has started snoring recently but he is really skinny so I can't understand why he is doing it.

Being overweight is definitely a factor in snoring but there are many other reasons why people snore, such as; having a cold or any sinus issues, after drinking alcohol, allergies and even just from the anatomy of a person's mouth. If it's really bothering you, ask your husband to check with the doctor what might be causing it.

What can i use for snoring or how to stop snoring?

The number one thing that generally helps sleep apnea is to loose weight. Lots of people have good luck with salf water rinses before bed. There is also a jaw sling thing that works pretty well. Here it is: http://stopsnoringrx.com/anti-snoring-chin-straps-do-they-work/

However, if sleep apnea is so severe that you are not sleeping well and always feeling tired, you probably need to go to your doctor. They may prescribe you an apnea machine. http://www.cpap.com/cpap-machines.php

There are so many snoring remedies out there, has anyone actually tried a lot of them and if so, can you tell me if they work?

part of the problem with the snoring remedies is that each person may be snoring for a different reason and so there is no 'one cure fits all' when it comes to snoring. You may have to experiment to see which is best for you.

But read this article from the Daily Mail newspaper in which a guy tried out 10 different snoring remedies and gave his feedback on their effectiveness;

I don't think so that any other device will work effectively for snoring is my personal experience. As I have already used and tried many options other than surgery. Even I took consultation through many doctors about my snoring problems, but no result. Finally I came to know about Asonor effective Anti Snoring solution
