Does this TV use CCFL illumination or LEDs?

Check the horizontal scan output section circuit for any fault. Check whether the filament of the CRT is glowing. If it does, the horizontal section circuit is working, and you have to troubleshoot all other voltages at its video output circuit. Check the CRT base socket too. If it has any faulty connections, this kind of fault can occur.

When you get your blackberry screen blackout? After your blackberry 9530 unlocked or a few days after you unlocked your phone? Did you get my point? If you get that blackout screen after blackberry unlocked process try to reset your phone to default factory setting and if still not working try to reinstall your blackberry os, but if you get that blackout screen a few days after you unlock your phone looks like your screen already broken and you need to replace it in your nearest local mobile repair shop.

You have dry connections in the phone,maybe caused by water or moist.Only solution is the repair shop.

I am too facting the same issue ...Reverted back to def. settings ...uninstalled all unused / downloaded applications but still screen goes black when i slide the set in / out. and i cannot hear on head set..i need to sweitch on the speaker to make and receive calls all the time

You are simply in blackout mode. This is so at night you aren't blinded by the glow of a screen. Here are instructions right from the manual to turn on or off.

Blackout Mode On and Off
When Blackout mode is turned on, the monitor display will turn off to

1 Touch [VISUAL] on the main source screen.
The VISUAL selection screen is displayed.
2 Touch [OFF].
The backlit-display portion goes out.
