Toro 724 snowblower won't start

Hello,
I have a toro 724 that won't start either manually or electrically.. I tested the electric start by removing it from the motor..... The flywheel is not turning when i try to start it.....seems to be locked up...

One of two things will cause this. Either your piston rings have fried and your piston is stuck. The bearing on the flywheel is bad. Or actually one of thing, the crank shaft has broken. You willl need to take the motor apart all the way and see what is going on. If you take the flywheel off try to turn it by hand and see if you can turn it that wy. You also can try easier to check for first symptom is to make sure you are not in vapor lock. Remove the spark plug, turn unit upside down and see if you can get the motor to turn, if you can then replace the spark plug and it will start up. You can getvapor lock by running it low on fuel or the wrong fuel or running it to rich

I own a Toro 1500 curve electric snowblower. Just this year, a problem has started. The machine will start and run, but after 1 min or so the machine stops. Will not start again until it has warmed up...

It may only need unplugged to reset rather then taking inside.

Likely it's a thermal switch. Try running with out moving snow and see how long it runs.

My 418 ZE Toro snowblower won't start either manually or electrically. I need to empty the gas. How do I do that?

Easiest way is to pull the fuel line from the carburetor.
If you have not started it since last year and had the gas sitting in there. You need to clean the carburetor too.
