Yes! get a can of compressed air and attach supplied straw, now with your fingernail lift up the left mouse button and give a few good blasts in the crevice, this will clear out any buildup of dirt and grime that has collected, repeat as required. If this fails it will involve laptop service.

Did you check the settings for the left and right buttons under the mouse properties. Normally the left should be set on Click and the right should be set on Shortcut. If it's set to NONE then it will be inoperable. Better yet you can click the Default tab for buttons. Otherwise, it sounds like your touch pad needs to be replaced. The immediate remedy to this is to just go purchase a USB mouse and voila, you'll have the ability to left and right click.
Connect an external mouse then press and hold the CTRL key on the keyboard. Just scroll down the scroll wheel located in between the left and right click buttons on the mouse and it should zoom out the page.
You have two choices, first one is to just click on the link and it will bring you to the page where you change your password, or you can with a left mouse button click highlight the link, once it is highlighted you will press the right mouse button and select copy, than you will open your browser and will click on the address bar that white space where the website address will be displayed, delete whatever is there and place your mouse cursor in the bar right click paste and there you go.
Hi, click on the "Start Button," next in the (right area) click on the "Control Panel." In the window there will be "listings" different categories; choose the "Mouse," from the "Hardware and Sound" click on it to open the next window. Next select the "Device Setting" button, once the window open, click on the "Setting" button just below the"highlighted" TouchPad, or Mouse. The area of your immediate concern is the "Buttons" put a [check] mark into "Enable" buttons. Try out some of the "items listed" Tapping, Virtual Scrolling... "You must click on the "Apply, OK buttons when finished." Note: Restart the computer; this will make sure the changes are correctly applied, and working properly. "Rating the solution will let me know if the problem is fixed, or you will need further assistance, thanks."
Check if the mouse has been aligned for to be used by Left-Handed or RIght Handed people. If the settings are correct try reinstalling the drivers for the mouse. If that doesnt help either, try replacin the mouse and see if that helps.
