Denon AVR 1506

I own a Denon AVR 1506, I had it blasting for extended amount of time and now my front panel looks dead but all fuses are good also there is no sounds coming out from all speakers. I was just wondering on how to reset it. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

lynchms, There is no PCM nor Auto button only LED but pressing Input mode switches to PCM, Auto or DTS. Is there any other way to reset.

    Thanks in advance!

Try this, turn off the unit and remove the AC power cord from the electrical outlet, Hold the AUTO button and PCM button and plug the unit back into the electrical outlet, if the display starts flashing with 1 second intervals then release the 2 buttons, this initialized the microprocessor

Yes you can turn off the power switch, then press both A & B speaker button and keep them depressed while you turn on the units main power button, this initilized the microprocessor, theLED should flash.

Denon avr-1506 will turn on then flash red and turn off... how do i make it stop or fix it??

In most AV receivers if the standby light flashes after turning on and you don't hear the regular click of the relay engaging after 4 seconds, indicates an output short or amplifier failure. The protection circuit prevents any further damage by not turning on system.
You will need professional help to fix this problem because even to a electronic enthusiast the construction of a typical AVR is not service friendly.

Unable to get my sub to work with my Denon AVR 1506 Receiver

Did it ever work? Are you certain the sub is getting a signal. It has to be defined. How about the speaker levels adjustment? Did that work? Give us a clue.

Connecting 2 sub woofers to denon 1506 receiver

Most receivers only handle one sub at a time. If you are deadset on connecting two, you might want to consider how much power your receiver will give to each if you split the signal then determine the power of each sub. If the subs aren't the same you can be sure they will sound strange.

If they are identical and your receiver has enough power to handle them both, examine the connection the subs use to connect to the receiver and split the connection by buying a splitter at a local radioshack.

You will probably be better off using the better of the two subs instead of having both connected. Your sound quality will be more balanced and clear when it comes to bass.
