My professional ceramic tools porcelain round brush blow dryer will not work and I cannot reset it. How do I reset it?

There is no reset button on those. There is a thermal breaker in the barrel if the heating coils get to hot. If this sticks open then it wont work but you cannot reset it.

Jilbere Porcelain Series Hair Dryer.the blower doesnt work anymore,it happens when I was drying my hair. The motor smells normal not burned and I already check buttons for reset and no luck.

On the end there shouldbe a vent which houses the fan you should be able to open this by twisting ? Chech to see if there is hair/fluff/dust blocking this if it's not able to move the motor won't have anything to keep it cooled resulting in smelling burning as the caught up hair fluff and dust burn hope this helps :-)

Can a jilbere curling iron be fixed

If you know anything about electronics you could probably fix it. Those kinds of devices have a fusable link in series with the heater and when they exceed their rated temperature then open up to keep things from starting a fire. Typically you can purchase them at a place like Radio Shack if you can determine the temperature and current rating. Good luck.

Dimplex obsidian

Sad...

The bulbs called for (60W) do get VERY hot...
(but the owners manual I found indicate a 60W
USA style lamp... (appeared to be a E16 (Edison)).

Euro lamps have higher voltage
(and FRANKLY speaking) better heat tolerance...

If you are terribly in love with this unit.. I would first
suggest calling the "SUPPORT" to see if their
"ENGINEERING" already has a solution...

ELSE you should be looking for a couple CERAMIC
(like glazed porcelain) sockets and prepare to
FIELD ENGINEER a proper/safe remedy...

My best suggestion...
Call support
Dimplex Obsidian OBS20 User Manual Page 9

Then contact your favorite hardware... (or LAMPS +)
and ASK the MOST COMMON clear candelabra bulb socket
That sports a CERAMIC type socket... E12 or E14 ...

When I was "converting" a Spanish chandelier..
I used GLAZED Porcelain "EDISON twelves" (E12).

Jilbere Titanium Tools hair straightener is not operating correctly. When plugged in and turned on, the red light indicating that the straightener is on lights up, however the plates do not heat up.

I recommend to get a better hair straightener, I bought mine at safrons it's the Karmin G3 Salon Pro with ceramic tourmaline plates to avoid hair damages, it heats up really quick and leave my hair soft, shiny and super straight, hope this helps.

I have a JS968 GE Profile range that the ASM sensor went bad. When pulling the sensor to replace it with the new I discovered that the plastic connectors had disintegrated from heat. Is it possible to...

Hi. Yes it is possible to connect the wires with wire nuts. (Without tape! / tape can melt) You must use ceramic / porcelain wire nuts (white) in HOT areas. Make sure it is a clean connection with no copper strands exposed The plastic ones will melt like your connector did. Most appliance parts supply stores will have ceramic / porcelain wire nuts.

Here is a source for ceramic wire nuts if you can not find them. (15 ea / pack) $5.65 +shipping

Tile Saws types problem

Mass produced ceramic tiles of medium to soft grades are cut easily with hand tools. The glazed surface of the tile is first scored with a tool that carries a hardened metal wheel. Then with a support directly under the score pressure is applied to either side of the cut and the tile snaps along the score. The harder grades of ceramic tiles like fully vitrified porcelain tiles, stone tiles, and some clay tiles with textured surfaces have to be cut with a diamond blade.
