HOW TO CHECK A GOOD REMOTE CONTROL

Check your remote control using your camera or cellphone camera as your eyes. Point the remote control transmitter to your camera and "on", light should emit in your remote control transmitter (means good remote). Reset the unit by disconnecting the power supply for 10 sec. then "on" again and start the unit. If it wont work you need a qualified tech. to solve the problem.Some of your safety device might be defective.

If wont work means either the receiver board or mean board is defective.You need a qualified tech. for this problem. For the mean time you can use manual button to operate the unit.

If no light then the remote control is defective, but if the light is present then the remote is ok and the unit receiver board itself is defective.

Check also if there is a reset or rst button on the remote control, press the button and test the remote.

HOW TO CHECK THE DEFECTIVE REMOTE CONTROL:
Check if the remote control if still good, using the camera of your cellphone point remote control to the cellphone camera and press the "on" button of your remote and you can see the light emitting from your remote control transmitter. If the lights emits that means your remote control is good, if not means the remote control is defective. If the remote emits light it means that the receiver at the control board in the indoor unit is defective.
