Is there a way to fix a dead hoveround battery?

I must not have kept the battery charged enough.

Power lights will not come on/ wheel chair will not go/ charger light is green

Unfortunately your batteries are either disconnected or dead, below charging threshold of 16v. Time to check the connections and/or replace the batteries.

How do i know if my jazzy power charger is working

Without the charger the batteries would go dead. You could put a voltmeter across the batteries and you should read more than 28 VDC while charging.

My uncle left my hoveround chair out in the rain is this the end of my chair? when i plug in the charger the light on the charger lights up green but the chair wont come on

Angel the charger light should only turn green when the chair is fully charged. If you know the chair isn't fully charged then there is a problem with the charging system. if the circuit board in the joystick got wet then that is a serious problem. If you have a voltmeter you can check the battery voltage thru the charging port located under the front of your joystick Set the meter to 200 volts dc and plug the leads into the 2 outter holes of the charger port. Fully charged you should read 27-30 volts if you aren't getting any reading then the batteries are completly dead or there is a problem with the charging circuit (the reason you are getting a green light on the charger) The joystick will have to be replaced sorry If Medicare paid for your chair then they will pay 80% of the repair costs to get your chair working again If they did contact Roadrunner Mobility @ 1-800-467-2668 to get it fixed thru Medicare Hope this helps

I need an owners manual. I have had the hoveround charging for approximately 36 hours, it seems to turn on but does not move.

PK 36 hours charging is too long you will damage the chair and the batteries. You shouldn't have to charge more than 12 hours and never more than 24. If the batteries are weak the chair might power up but you don't have the power to energize the motors. If you have a digital voltmeter set it to 200 volts dc and plug the leads into the two outter holes of the charger port located on the joystick. You should be reading 25-27 volts with the batteries fully charged. Anything less than 20 volts will not be enough to power the chair. Hope this helps you

Charger model FY 4101 green light stay lite all the time, and hoveround battery is still dead

When the green light stays on regardless of dead battery, this means the battery is defective. The battery must present a load to the charger, which causes the charger voltage to drop, turning the charger on. When the battery is defective, it will not load the charger, and the charger voltage stays at full charge value. This of course, causes the green light to be switched on.
