Touch center of screen. You will go to menu. Touch arrow lower right until you see three flags. It will show you all languages
1) Use the translation service at:
http://ets.freetranslation.com/
to give you some idea of what the menu options are so you can change the language back to English.
OR
2) Look at the manual and work out how you do a hard reset and then you can start over and select English.

This is from my tomtom one (not sure what edition) so the page numbers refer to mine.
1.Touch the screen for the menu
2.on page 1 of 3 on the menu, touch the blue wrench (change prefs)
3.press the black right arrow key to page 4 of 7 in preferences and touch the flags icon
4.press your desired language

With the map displayed tap the screen, then tap the icon with the wrench, then tap the arrow until you see a icon of flags tap this then set your language. You should be set to go.
