I have an Older Orion TV and have tried all different kinds of remotes. The thing is that Orion does not sell their codes to universal remote vendors. I have the best luck out of Philips remotes.
Hello, Well I have a Phillips universal remote but but maybe they are the same. For the Orion TV try 105, 115, or 713. For The Pioneer DVD Try 042. If one or more does not work, Look for a "code Search" button. Turn on the device, then push and hold down the code search button until the red indicator stays on, then release the search button. Press and quickly release the desired mode button (TV, DVD, etc). The red indicator blinks off once. . If it is a tv or vcr use the channel up button until the channel changes. Press the power button on DVD and see if it is right Hope this helps.
