Please check the ink level in the cartridges before you start to make a copy. You may have to replace the cartridges which are depleted or have low level ink.
If cartridges have ink in them and if the printer is not making a COPY ( black or color ), then have the printer power cord directly plugged in to wall outlet ( bypass the surge / power strip ) and retry making a COPY.
If issue still persists, then you may have to call HP Tech Support for further assistance as the printer would require a service.

failure
---Replace the high voltage power supply
PCB ASSY.
2. Harness connection failure of high
voltage power supply PCB
---Check the harness connection of the high
voltage power supply PCB and reconnect
it.
3. Main PCB failure
---Replace the main PCB ASSY.
For copy, first u need to scan a document. save it in ur desired format. then print it. give necessary instructions in scan & print settings. color/black&white, dpi, page sizes etc. etc.
Clear all pending documents after disconnecting usb cable...
the deleted all printer icons 6100 series from ur pc including fax & printer...
Then initiate PNP by making sure printer is on without blinking lights,, connect usb & follow pc screen..
