Probably control panel or if there are separate pumps for each side, that side's pump probably doesn't have a relay working with bad switch from the control panel.

Any of these cleaners work very well at removing the smell from a jetted tub and the bacteria in the pipes as well.

Cleaning your Tub
There are several options for cleaning the piping on a jetted bathtub.
The reason you have a residue on the bathtub surface when you are done bathing is because there is bacteria built up in the plumbing of the jetted tub. In order to remove that and reduce the amount of "yucky stuff" coming into the tub when using it, we recommend a regular usage of a jet cleaning product about once every couple of months
Here is a link at the bottom to the cleaning products I can find right now. There may be others out there that I am not aware of but I do know these products work well in all jetted bathtubs.

Checking the circuit breaker for power to the pump is obvious however the control that turns the bath pump on/off may be the real problem.
MTI has what control box to operate the pump?
Check there first because that may be the problem before the bath pump is a problem.
We would need to know the model number of the bath pump and the control box if there is one that the bath pump plugs into.

The problem you are experiencing is common to many jetted bathtubs.It is a result of dried bathing water in the tub. There are a couple of solutions to resolve this ongoing problem.

1. Use your tub more frequently as the water will not have time to fester in the pipes.
2. Use a cleaning solution made for cleaning the pipes on jetted bathtubs once every three months.

When the bath pump runs and you get no water going through the jets in your bath Jet trim then the impeller has probably spun off the shaft of the motor.You will not know if this is the case until you take the bath pump out and remove the front cover of the bath pump and check the impeller.If this is the case it usually has to be replaced.

You can hear the pump come on but get no water through the jets?Is the motor running or is it just humming

This is an automatic feature to dry out the pipes and prevent mold. The next time you turn on the pump after leaving these tubs for a few weeks you get lots of black **** in the water and this is what this feature prevents. Sounds like the tub is working fine :)

open the side panel and there will be a sticker on or near the pump with all the info

Many time leaks around pumps are a simple o-ring that needs to be cleaned and/or tightened. If the jets are leaking from the back side then the jet will have to be removed and resealed.
