I was using the verizon cable remote and tried to change the channel and the screen went blue with the message, "please run auto scan". I tried to exit, and other buttons, but the message won't go away.
Check it by making a hard reset. Unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 10 minutes or so. This must make it a hard reset. If this do not help you, check and replace it system control memory IC. It is faulty. If you are not familiar with electronics, do not attempt to repair. Whether you suffer fatal electrical shock! Instead, contact the nearest service center.
