I recently downgraded my Vista machine to Windows XP Pro. Dell does not support XP on all their Studios, but I was able to find most of the drivers online. There is two that I have been unsucessful: the drivers for the 1394 Net Adapter and one Unknown Device on "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System" (which I think might be audio related?).
Any help on both is greatly appreciated!
Try installing the chipset driver. Check and see if they have it on their support.dell.com site.
Here is all the drivers you need for Windows XP downgrade. Also has the driver for the SATA , so you can slipstream the driver and not lose performance.

Hi, and thanks for the response! I have already tried the chipset driver(s). Didn't work. As far as my research goes, these two issues are quite common for this machine with XP and some have already posted these issue on Dell's Forum but the suggestions are always to look up the solution online. Dell's tech support says there are no XP drivers made for this computer at all (go figure).
