Music problems with LG Vu

I loaded several cd's (converted to mp3's) onto my 2 bg card. Each cd is in a separate folder and all the folders I've put in the music folder. The problem is none show uo in any of the genre folders, they just all show up in 1 list. What did I do wrong?

I have the same problem. Only few songs are categorized the remaining are all in one list. I was told that it has to do with the Tag Number. I notice the only ones that are categorixed are the ones with 1.0 tag. All others are not. I guess we have to change the tags numbers but it is not easy

Can't download music from computer

What happens when you chose open to see files, this is how I us mine. I go to the folder tree and drag my files from the computer folder to the music folder on the player. If you use windows media player you can convert cd's to mp3 from the menu at the top. if you can not see the menu right click the top bar next to the now playing button, and chose classic menus. Then go to -> tools -> options -> rip music tab and look for the folder it will put mp3's in or change it to a folde you make at the top of the folder tree say ( create a folder named AAA. right click the top c:\ drive and create a new folder and re-name it aaa that will put it at the top). then in the rip music location chose mp3 rip when cd in inserted and close out and your good to go. rip a cd and drag it onto your player.

How do you put songs on it? The disc that came with it is to convert videos. We just want to download some songs from our CD's.

Well once you put the songs from your cd onto your computer place them in a folder in my documents and name it music. Plug in your mp3 player and go into your my computer folder and open your mp3 player as a folder. Or if you have autoplay on when it loads itself and pops up on the screen click where it says open items as a folder. Once you have it open into a folder just go into your my documents and slide the music folder over into the mp3 folder. That should work because thats how I do mine I dont like using the disc way because the disc is way to confusing.

The music in my motorola rival isn't being recognized

I found out a couple things on this. 1) try their web site, it helps. 2) you need 3 folders on your micro sd a) my_music b) my_pix c) my_flix. Their web page has the WRONG NAME...so use the ones above. Drag and drop the MP3's directly into this folder - DO NO PUT ALBUM FOLDERS in there, it doesn't work.

Memory card music won't show up on my new lg vu cu920

If you copied your music from itunes or another such program, it is in an mp4 format and/ or has embedded DRM (Digital Rights Management- that program that makes apple ****!!!!!!) . The phone will not recognize or play that format. The easiest solution is to Google "free mp3 wma converter" and there are free full versions that you don't have to pay for. Drag the songs off of your itunes into a new folder on your desktop named TO BE CONVERTED and then open the converter and load them on. Make sure you create another folder on your desktop named CONVERTED for the destination file for the converted songs before you convert them and be sure to select that path to save them to or you may never find them. Once done, drag them from the converted folder onto your phone or memory card, and you're all set. Good Luck!!!!!!!

How do I convert music to mp3 files

Insert the cd into your computer and open it with media player, copy the music onto media player.

Once you have done this, go to 'My Music' folder and copy the songs you have just ripped from the cd onto your memory card. If you cannot find the songs in my music check in the unknown folder (in my music) and it will be in there with the date of copying so you know which folder it is.

I hope this helps

Loading mp3 files to garmin nuvi 350

The device is not recognizing the file name. The Garmin GPS will only recognize MP3 files. Ipod (MP4) and other media files will not play. Converting the files to the MP3 format will correct the problem.

I don't know how to load music from the internet to my new mp3

the best way for that is to read your manual.

MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Windows XP SP1
Windows Media Player 10
Intel1.gif Pentium class PC or higher
CD-ROM drive
USB 2.0 port required for hi-speed transfer
CONNECTING AND TRANSFERRING
Connect to your Computer
1. Connect the small USB Cable Connector to the USB port on your computer, and then plug the larger
Cable Dock Connector in to your Sansa c200 port.
2. Once connected to computer, it should be detected by the operating system automatically and is
shown as an additional drive called “Sansa c200”.
SANSA MEDIA CONVERTER
You will need to use Sansa Media Converter to transfer photos to your Sansa c200. Insert your SanDisk
CD and select Sansa Media Converter to install it to your PC. Then you can load your personal photos
onto your Sansa c200 by using Sansa Media Converter.

TRANSFER MUSIC
To transfer music to your Sansa c200:
1. Connect Sansa c200 to the computer.
2. Drag and drop files from your computer to Sansa c200 by using a variety of music software
programs to transfer/synchronize your files.
3. In MTP mode as long as the files are WMA or MP3, they can be dragged into the Media folder.
Otherwise, they can be dragged into the Data1.gif folder (these files will not appear on the player).
4. In MSC mode, files/folders can be dragged/copied to the device.
