Hi my becko washing machain is leaking warter from the back dose anyone no why it is

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Sorry but the only way for anyone to find out where the water is leaking from is to remove the back (?) cover and look. It could be from a number of hoses- hot water inlet, cold water inlet, feed to the dispenser drawer hose(s),drainage hose...................
Sorry again but you will need someone to investigate for you ;-0(

Hoover Dishwasher HD95M leaks on start up from bottom right front corner. Leaks when initially being fed from water feed.

Water leaking can be poor plumbing or fault in the inlet hose connection. You are the first observer and so your view on the leak area is important as the leak can be from the hose, from the inlet, the hose or the washer unit.
Based on this the water leak can be plugged, tighten the hose clips, check the inlet filter or check the washer's feed line.

Hi. I've just been loaned a Whirlpool awm 5125/4 washing machine (while mines gone for repair), but it has on the back of the machine, a hot inlet and a cold inlet. My machine only requires a cold water...

Hi,

Your machine can be connected for cold fill only but, you will need to connect a "Y-Piece" for it to work:

The tail of the "Y" attaches to the cold water valve on your pipework. You then attach both hot and cold water hoses to the branches of the "Y" and connect both hot and cold water hoses to your washing machine. The wash cycles will take longer when connected this way as the machine has to heat the water internally. It will also be less energy effecient.

The electronic cold water inlet valves at the top of the machine are leaking. My manual does not list the part and i need to replace it. I dont know the correct part name or number

Water Inlet Valve Replacement Procedure
Cold water inlet valve assembly: Part # 5221ER1003A
Hot water inlet valve: Part # 5220FR2006H

Safety first. Unplug the machine.
Close the water supply valve.
Remove the cold water fill hose and drain the residual water into a pan or bucket.
Remove the two screws on the back of the top panel securing it to the cabinet.
Slide the top panel to the back of the machine and lift it off the cabinet.
Disconnect the wiring harness connectors from the valves. Mark the connectors to make sure you reconnect them to the right valve.
Unscrew the valve assembly from the cabinet and pull it out.
Loosen the hose clamps and remove the hoses from valve assembly.
Connect the hoses to the new valve assembly. Reinstall the valve assembly and the top panel in reverse of the steps above.
Reconnect the fill hose and open the water supply valve.

No cold water is coming into the tub.

The most common reason would be a blocked inlet screen. Turn off water shut offs behind washer and unhook the cold inlet hose from the back of the washer. Remove the screen from inside where the hose came off of, then replace the screen. Re-attach hose and turn valves back on. Check for leaks. Test washer. If that does not solve the problem, the next most likely cause would be the cold water inlet valve. (The part the inlet hose screws onto)

Inside the machine you have a valve called inlet.

The inlet water valve will collect the cold and hot water lines, and open alternatively one or the other during cycle.

To access the inlet valve you need to take apart the machine, and that is not an easy task.
If you DIY remember to unplug power, there is high voltage running inside your appliance.

it depends if you have the connections already there. If not then you can make a tee branch from the hot and cold pipes running to your kitchen sink. Then solder 2 15mm branch pipes. this will now be your hot and cold feeds to your machine. At the end of the branches attatch a washing machine valve (red for hot, blue for cold. You can now attach the hoses from the machine to the valves you have just fitted. Really easy

Yes. There is a part that allows you to connect the cold water supply to both the hot and cold inlet hoses. It has worked successfully on our 6100 for 8 years or so. I think it was part of the original kit rather than a subsequent purchase - it's a Y-shaped yoke with an inlet connection and two outlets that accept the two hoses feeding the inlets of the machine. From memory i tink the situation is mentioned in the user manual somewhere.

Gushing water - Hoover SPB11 washing machine

First plug off the wall. Before connecting the "hoses" (both hot and cold) to the machine inlets see that the inlet is clean. Connect the outlet hose to the standpipe, not too deep. The outlet hose has to be about 3 feet above ground level; there is a water level mark behind the machine. Both the inlets should be well screwed in, noting the threads of the inlets

You said the water was gushing.....into the machine? Fine .....what next.......post back.

water leak from cold hose nothing to do with other problem. tighten hose connection and fit a new hose washer overfilling probably because air chamber blocked. remove lid. you will see a pressurestat somewhere at the top - usually round with anything from 3 to 7 wires and a small tube underneath. follow hose down and it connects to the air chamber. make sure this is free of gung and check hose for splits and has no blockage. to check the pressure stat itself, attach your own hose to the stat and while machine in fill mode, blow down this hose and you should hear a click and water intake will stop

There are 2 versions of the Hotpoint WD640, a cold fill only version, and a hot and cold fill version..
From your question, I conclude you have the hot and cold fill version, which requires a hot and cold fill supply..
I do not understand what you mean by leaking from top banch, perhaps you can clarify.

It will be an A rated machine and is cold fill so it can wash at lower temp

This is simply because the manufacturer uses the same chassis and soap tray for a hot and cold feed machine as well as your cold feed only version. Easier to fit a low cost rubber tube that splits into a Y and feeds the hot and cold inlet on the soap tray than anything else. It may also (Depending on the machine) more effectively wash out the soap with 2 water jets. I would advise replacing like for like if you are replacing the pipe. Just in case.
