I have a sony ericsson W890i that i never really use except for when I'm abroad as it's too expensive to use my other phone.
However, I hadn't used it for a few months now and my friends phone broke so I gave him my W890i one but when he puts his sim card in it shows up as inactive. It's an orange phone and he is on orange yet all sim cards show up as in active.
I'm not sure what to do because the sim works in other phones and the phone is unlocked so I'm very confused.
I'd greatly appreciate any assistance given, thank you.
Try a new sim card made for that network.

This means that your orange sim card has expired you will need to get a new sim card

The front speaker needs replacing. Songs/MP3's are played through the back speakers, thats why you can hear them when you play them individually.
Ive been quoted around £50 from an online mobile phone repair centre to replace it.
Needless to say, Ive sent my phone back for a refund, and i wont be buying this phone again.
