Hi, The Tray Moves Regulary In And Out, If I Change The Two Trays The Same Thing Happens, Meaning It Will Take Paper From The Bottom Tray So I Guess The Tray Is Perfectly Fine. If Its The Sensor, Is There A Way I Can Fix It Or Do I Need To Call A Dealer?
Thank You Very Much For Responding
Paper light blinking green, status light on continuously. No jams, tray is about 1/2 full of paper.
Sounds like the sensor for tray 1 went bad and does not show properly. Now, how to test the sensor? My guess is that it is either a light or controled by weight. Does the tray move? Weight. Stationary?
Light sensor. If a light sensor, it may be out of alignment. It has to
line up so that the light shines on the center of the sensor. look to see ,phsically , if it does. Weight. Micro switch that will move when tray goes up and down. Pretty Generic, I know, but I have never worked on your model. Hope this has at least been helpful.
