Help setting time and date on Model # 86715 atomic clock

My father-in-law and his caregiver had a problem with one of these atomic clocks. They could not figure out how to set the time. I studied it and found the time zone setting on the back. It was very tiny printing and he could not see it. They had set it to Mountain time accidentally. He is eastern. I moved it to Eastern and it took the clock about 10 minutes to completely move around to the correct time. Other than changing the time zone there was no other way to set the time.

How do I reset time and date on SioScan Atomic Clock? I need Arizona time zone - i.e. no daylight savings time

Put it into settings and then adjust time/date. It's not related in any way to temperature.

My SkyScan atomic clock model# 86715 does not show the signal

I have the same model. Make sure you have good batteries and move the clock away from any electrical equipment. Since WWVB broadcasts at a frequency of 60kHz, this could be a harmonic of 60 Hz.

If all else fails, remove the batteries, take the clock outside and reinstall the batteries. If you do this at night you should pick up a signal..

I just had to move my clock out of the computer room and it picked up the signal at noon.

Good luck

I just found a sio/scan temp transmitter in my flower bed, what is this and do i need it?

You only need it if you have a SioScan atomic clock to read the temperature it transmits.

Have a sky scan atomic clock model 86715. it does not adjust when we have the time change. What can I do to correct the time.

If this model has a DST switch on the back, make sure that it's turned ON. If there's no DST switch you can force a manual change by changing the time zone setting, but you'll need to do that twice a year. Also note that if the clock is more than two years old, turning the DST switch ON will make the clock conform to the old DST changeover dates.
