My printer was working & then just stopped one day. Message says: "Print Head is not installed. Install Print Head." I checked to make sure printer cartridges were not loose, I tried to push the Menu button to do some testing/cleaning & nothing happens, it keeps displaying the same above message. Any suggestions?

Yes, I tried to reinstall & no change.
I just recieved a warranty replacement MP470, original problem paper not feeding. New (reconditioned) printer now has Print head not installed install print head fault. Waiting now for a response from Cannon Tech's via e-mail.
I have the same error U501, just install new Print Cartridge.
Can any one help.
Have you tried reinstalling the drivers?
