DETAILS - I have a PE800 with the 2 PCI-E x1 slots, and 3 ATI video cards have worked fine in one slot via an adapter, except that the HD2600 & HD3650 are poor at displaying different video from each port. 3rd card is X1950XT. I receive a Code 19 blue screen with both smaller cards installed. Can this server handle a video card in each PCI-Ex1 slot?

I don't know of any server that supports Crossfire or SLI. I would say no.

my examination of AMD's AMD Radeon HD 5000, HD 6000, and HD 7000 Series CrossFire Compatibility Chart tells me that these cards are not interoperatible in crossfire. See for yourself at AMD CrossFire Compatibility Chart

ATI crossfire: can you pair up XFX 5770 to another video card like Sapphire 6850 Toxic? will it work or is it possible?

It may be possible but would be unreliable or require tons of extra work on your part. Crossfire standards recommend using the same exact model of graphics cards when pairing up.

Need to connect 3 monitors. Want to use either a Nvidia 290 or ATI Radeon 9250 plus the VGA port. Installing the dual-video card disables the VGA port, cannot get it back. Help!!!

Use your AGP dual-video card for two and using a PCI VGA card for the third. It is best if the same manufacturer video driver is used for both cards, as two different ones could be problematic.

The H55M-UD2H MOTHER BOADR STARTS TO BOOT THEN POWERS DOWN IM SHURE THE WIRING IS COCECT THANKS

Hello

This board has 2 slots for the ATI Crossfire video cards. Since the computer is turning off right away, it would appear that your PSU (power supply unit) does not have enough watts to power the motherboard and Crossfire video cards.

Check with ATI for the power requirements for your video cards and upgrade your PSU.

I typically see SLI / Crossfire systems with at least a 800 watt power supply. If you are below this, you will need to upgrade your power supply.

If you have a larger power supply, you will need to verify it is working correctly.

I have two video card AGP 4X but it's not working. Why?????

you have to make sure the graphics cards are from the same manufacturer or have the same settings for running them in crossfire (dual video) normally ati and nividia will not get along with each other after knowing that some software is usually needed and sometimes your bios needs to be altered

I need help choosing a video card - part 3

Certain motherboard can support more than one video card. For Nvidia motherboards, this is called SLI, for ATI it's called Crossfire. Unfortunately, your motherboard cannot have dual video cards, you would need a SLI or crossfire capable board. Your upgradeability is limited to a single 16x PCIe video card, but as your onboard video card is ATI, you might get lucky and be able to put in another ATI video card, and have them share the video memory.

How to enable Crossfire with my two ati radeon x1650 graphic card

You need two pci-e slots. Put the cards in the slots. The cards connect with a crossfire bridge. Then just plug your monitor in and your ready to go. Make sure that you have the software installed and that your chipset supports crossfire. For more info click here.

Crossfire

I would recommend getting two ATI radeon cards instead of Nvidia. Crossfire is meant for ATI cards only. You will still be able to use Nvidia video cards but not as dual cards in Crossfire mode. Only on a single card basis.

I won two ati sapphire x1950pro graphics cards but don`t know if my system can deal with them.

Man Great win you have some kick-A$$ cards but I am sorry to say your current MB does not support crossfire video cards. But if this a store bought system from Packard Bell you should have a Name: ATI Radeon X300 (RV370 SE) that your computer came with. Just to tell you one of these bad boys will put the Name: ATI Radeon X300 (RV370 SE) to shame if this is what you have in your system.
